COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR

The Oklahoma City Spark professional women's softball organization is accepting applications for the position of Communications Director. As Communications Director for OKC Spark, responsibilities will entail creating and executing content across digital and social media. The Oklahoma City Spark professional women's softball organization is accepting applications for the position of Communications Director. As Communications Director for OKC Spark, responsibilities will entail creating and executing content across digital and social media. This individual will work directly with the Director of Operations and other administrators within the organization and communicate directly with the Women's Professional Fastpitch (WPF) league offices. The chosen applicant must have experience drafting press releases and information for newspapers, magazines, radio, and television, or to be presented in speeches and printed materials. This position requires a creative strategist who can liaise throughout the organization to edit and organize multimedia content plans while meeting deadlines and maintaining flexibility daily. Following social and digital trends and offering recommendations for integration is a requirement of the Communications Director, as well as growing the fanbase while increasing engagement on social media platforms. Maintaining and enhancing the OKC Spark website will be a critical component of the position as well as knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, and After Effects. Additional Details: Employees will be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. All religious, medical, or other legally recognized exemptions regarding vaccination status will be considered. Work schedule will include office hours, events, home and away games, and weekends. The primary work location will be the OKC Spark Central office in Norman, Oklahoma. DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

The Oklahoma City Spark professional women's softball team is accepting applications for the Director of Business Development position. This individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing OKC Spark's external sales and marketing strategy. As the director of Business Development, the chosen applicant will be responsible for soliciting and fulfilling OKC Spark corporate sponsorships while building community partnerships. Applicants must be willing to generate new business through client calls, off-site appointments, networking opportunities, community events, and scheduled team appearances. This position requires management of signage, radio/web broadcasting, print and digital assets, as well as game/event sponsorships. Responsible for the overall marketing and promotional efforts. Ticket sales, including single-game and group or corporate packages, will be a primary responsibility of the Director of Business Development, as well as creating a business development team to assist with sales and revenue-generating opportunities. With the assistance of the design and production team, the director must build strong relationships with corporate and private sponsors through print advertising, brochures, flyers, and other promotional materials. The director will also conduct and assist in implementing market research to identify target markets for direct use in corporate sponsorship programs. DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

The Oklahoma City Spark professional women's softball organization is accepting applications for the position of Director of Operations. The individual will serve as an OKC Spark administrative team member and report directly to the team manager and head coach. The candidate chosen will work collaboratively with the team manager and head coach to ensure clear and direct lines of communication exist between the Women's Professional Fastpitch (WPF) office and administrators and coaches. The chosen applicant will coordinate event operations within the Spark organization, including marketing, promotions, staffing, sponsorship fulfillment, television, awards selection, game operations, media relations, and team logistics. Experience in the reconciliation of the annual budget is preferred. Additional duties include but are not limited to: Performing managerial duties for practices and game preparations; Organizing team travel to include airline, bus, hotel, food reservations, practice times, and travel itineraries; Assisting with social media, scouting, and film breakdown; Organizing and participating in camp and community service projects. The chosen applicant must have basic marking skills that work with the Communications Director while providing weekly updates to the administrative team and team owner when applicable. Knowledge of WPF rules and regulations will be required, as well as the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with athletes, fellow employees, program boosters, and community partners.
