Amber Fiser Signs with Spark for 2024 Season

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma – The Oklahoma City Spark is proud to announce the signing of Amber Fiser, former Big Ten Pitcher of the Year and current assistant pitching coach at the University of North Florida softball, for the upcoming 2024 season.

Fiser brings with her a wealth of experience and an impressive collegiate career record. Before joining the OKC Spark, she served as a graduate assistant for Missouri, contributing to the Tigers' successful 2023 season with a 35-26 record and an appearance in the NCAA Regionals.

Her collegiate journey was marked by outstanding achievements, including being recognized as the 2019 Big Ten Pitcher of the Year and earning First Team All-American honors. Fiser's talent and dedication were pivotal in leading Minnesota to its first Women's College World Series in the NCAA era, where she pitched every inning of Regionals and Super Regionals. She completed her collegiate career with a 1.70 ERA and a 98-35 record while striking out 953 batters over five seasons. After playing at Minnesota, Fiser was selected No. 5 overall in the Athletes Unlimited Softball draft and played for Smash It Sports Vipers.

"Amber Fiser's addition to the Oklahoma City Spark roster is an exciting development for our team," said team owner Dr. Tina Floyd. "Her extensive experience, proven leadership, and remarkable skill set will undoubtedly strengthen our pitching rotation and contribute to our overall success in the upcoming season. We are thrilled to welcome her to the Spark family."
