OKC Spark Adds Superstar Keilani Ricketts to Roster



Oklahoma City, OK --- The Oklahoma City Spark welcomes former National Champion to the team.


Keilani Ricketts, former University of Oklahoma standout, will join the Spark for the upcoming season. Ricketts played at the University of Oklahoma for four years, and during her senior season, she led the Sooners in capturing the 2013 National Championship title.


Ricketts’ accolades are endless. In her collegiate career, she earned the titles of: USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year, Honda Softball Player of the Year, Four-time NFCA All-American, and Four-time first-team All-Big 12, along with numerous national and Big 12 Player and Pitcher of the week titles. In her senior season, Ricketts had a perfect 22-0 record, recorded an earned run average of 0.10, and became the winningest pitcher in OU history.


Keilani has played softball both professionally and for Team USA. Her experience includes two trips to the WBSC World Championship, first in 2012 and again in 2018. In 2012, she earned a Silver Medal going 4-0 in the circle with 25 strikeouts in 27 innings pitched, a 1.03 ERA, and Hit .429 (3-for-7) with 4 RBI and 1 HR. In 2018, she earned a Gold Medal pitching 15.2 innings with 13 strikeouts and a 0.89 ERA.

The Oklahoma City Spark’s inaugural season will launch in June 2023.
