Oklahoma City --- The Oklahoma City Spark is happy to announce this year’s first annual Women’s Professional Fastpitch (WPF) college draft in Oklahoma City at the Yale Theater on April 17, 2023 beginning at 6:00 p.m.
OKC Spark has the number one overall pick in this year’s draft and is expecting to add excellent talent to the already stacked lineup. Only current NCAA college seniors and redshirt seniors are eligible to be selected in this year’s draft. Each team will have their own tables at the front of the venue and will be given three minutes between each pick to make their selection. Once a selection has been made, Lauren Chamberlain (WPF Commissioner) will announce each pick via a filled out draft card. Round 1 will have live streams into the college team watch parties for the first four picks.
In attendance on behalf of the OKC Spark will be Jocelyn Alo, Keilani Ricketts, Lynnsie Elam, Chelsea Alexander, team owners, managers, and coaches.
