Spark Adds Former University of Oklahoma Standout Lynnsie Elam



Oklahoma City, OK --- The Oklahoma City Spark welcomes two-time National Champion to the team.


Lynnsie Elam, a former University of Oklahoma standout, will join the Spark for the upcoming season. Elam, a graduate of Chickasha, Oklahoma played for the Sooners for five years. Lynnsie is a back-to-back NCAA National Champion (2021, 2022), NFCA All-Central First Team selection, and Big 12 Championship All-Tournament Team member, along with many other awards and accolades. In her senior year, Elam was named team captain while hitting 14 home runs and a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.


“I am beyond excited to play for the OKC Spark in the upcoming season! God blessed me with the opportunity to play college softball 45 minutes from home and now He is giving me the ability to play professional softball 45 minutes from home. I cannot wait to represent Oklahoma in the WPF this season. I feel extremely thankful to play in front of my friends and family.” Lynnsie Elam


When asked about the addition to the team, Team Owner, Tina Floyd commented, “Lynnsie and I go way back. She is like a daughter to me and watching her play in college was phenomenal. Now, to have her play professionally in her home state, in front of her fans, friends, and family brings me so much joy. Lynnsie is a huge addition to the Spark, and we could not be happier to have her.”


The Oklahoma City Spark’s inaugural season will launch in June 2023.
