Oklahoma City Spark to Operate Independently for the 2024 Season

Oklahoma City --- In an effort to elevate professional softball and position the organization for the future of the sport, the Oklahoma City Spark will move on from the WPF and operate as an independent team for the 2024 season.

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to move this team and the sport forward in 2024 and beyond,” said team owner, Dr. Tina Floyd. “Professional softball has been underserved and underrepresented for years, and now we have the opportunity to do great things for dedicated, talented women who work diligently for the sport they love. To have the possibility to play international teams in preparation for the 2028 Olympics is a true dream for this sport, city, and team. I could not be more excited for the future for softball and the OKC Spark.”

Schedule and ticket information for the 2024 season will be released soon.
