Edmond, OK — The Oklahoma City Spark, Oklahoma’s professional women’s fastpitch softball team, is wrapping up the fall clinic season with an exclusive hitting clinic with the NCAA Home Run Queen, Jocelyn Alo! This landmark event on Saturday, November 8th is the final chance to meet Jocelyn Alo this year, and it is open to athletes ages 6–18. This is the first time that the Spark will be returning to Tom Heath Field at Oklahoma Christian University since they concluded their historic 2025 season three months ago. This clinic marks a major step in the Spark’s mission to grow the game and inspire the next generation of softball stars across Oklahoma.
Jocelyn Alo is one of the most dominant and influential figures in the history of softball. A native of Hau’ula, Hawai’i, Alo rose to national prominence as a power-hitting phenom whose record-breaking career redefined what was possible at the plate. At the University of Oklahoma, she won back-to-back National Championships in 2021 and 2022 and was a two-time USA Softball Player of the Year. She cemented her legacy as the “Home Run Queen” by hitting 122 career home runs during her time as a Sooner.
“Returning to Oklahoma Christian University to host a Jocelyn Alo Hitting Clinic is a monumental opportunity for us to re-connect with young athletes in the OKC metro who enjoyed cheering at our games this summer,” said Spark owner Tina Floyd. “We’ve seen the impact our clinics have had, and we’re thrilled to bring Jocelyn back to our home field to give hands-on training and personalized feedback to young athletes.”
