OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma - The Oklahoma City Spark wrapped up their season with a strong performance in a postseason round-robin tournament at Oklahoma Christian University, going 3-1 across four games and finishing with a decisive championship win.

The weekend opened with fireworks as the Spark rolled past the New York Rise in a 13-5 rout. OKC wasted no time, scoring four runs in the first inning and adding to the lead in every frame. Haley Lee and Kinzie Hansen each drove in three runs, while Maddie Penta earned the win in the circle with 5 strikeouts across 4.2 innings. The Spark racked up 13 hits and drew seven walks in the offensive outburst.

Later that day, the Spark stormed back from an early 5-1 deficit to defeat the Florida Vibe 8-6. Alyssa Brito led the comeback, driving in four runs—including a three-run homer in the fifth—while Haley Lee and Jocelyn Alo added solo shots of their own. Megan Golden pitched 5.1 strong innings in relief to secure the win.

On Sunday, the Spark dropped a hard-fought pitchers duel to the New York Rise, losing 2-0, despite a solid outing from Kelly Maxwell, who struck out six over six innings. The Spark offense tallied four hits but couldn’t break through against Kat Sandercock’s complete game shutout.

OKC bounced back in the championship finale on Monday with a resounding 8-1 win over the Florida Vibe. Jocelyn Alo’s two-run homer set the tone early, and Sydney Sherrill launched a grand slam to blow the game open. Brito added a solo homer in the sixth, while Maddie Penta dominated in the circle with a complete game, nine-strikeout performance.

The Spark's postseason success capped off a memorable season of exciting play, standout performances, and a team that delivered when it mattered most.
