OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma — The Oklahoma City Spark proudly announces the signing of Rachel Becker for their 2024 season. Becker, a standout athlete with an impressive collegiate career at Oklahoma State University and Purdue University, brings a wealth of talent and experience to the Spark. Becker's accolades precede her, having earned numerous honors during her time at both athletic programs.
In 2023, Becker made a significant impact during her graduate year at Oklahoma State. She played a pivotal role in the Cowgirl’s advancement to the Women’s College World Series. Becker earned Second Team All-America honors by the NFCA, First Team All-America recognition by D1Softball, and Third Team All-America distinction by Softball America. Her versatility was evident as she excelled in multiple positions in the infield. Throughout her time at Purdue and Oklahoma State, she had a batting average of .406, with 12 home runs and 84 runs batted in. In her season at Oklahoma State, Becker was also a Top 25 Finalist for the 2023 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Award, with a .443 batting average, three home runs, and 28 runs batted in.

After completing her collegiate career, Becker was one of 14 players selected in the 2023 Athletes Unlimited Softball College Draft and played in the AU Championship Season.
